Mobile Advertising, Who are the Pirates?

Who are the pirates? That’s what IMA “Israel Mobile Association” will be asking during their upcoming event scheduled to take place on June 29th at Gan Oranim, Tel-Aviv.

The event titled, Mobile Advertising: Exploring the Potential beyond the Hype, will include speakers from Turkcell, Vodafone Italy, Coca-Cola as well as Dir. Strategy at modu Guy Horowitz.

I asked Guy to share with us a few points he will be talking about during his presentation; Ads & Content Infrastructure – Barriers & Accelerators. Here’s what he had to say…

All the backend in the word won’t help if the users front end experience isn’t personalized. The industry’s “holy grail” is creating a segment of one a direct 2-way channel with the consumer, there’s great difficulty in trying to segment, even greater difficulty in micro-segmenting but the biggest hurdle is acting upon micro-segmentation. This is where modu comes in!
