Things You Can Only Do with the Smallest Phone

Have you ever felt uncomfortable texting while at the dinner table? You have probably experienced an excruciatingly long and boring dinner where all you want to do is text a friend. However, you also probably (well, maybe) resisted the urge to text under the table, so you wouldn’t be rude to the others around you. Well, discreetly texting is made easy with the modu T. With such a small phone, it is easy to hide your phone under table. You do not have to worry about being impolite – just type away and fear no more. This is one of many things that you can do only with the all-new modu T!

As you may know by now, the modu T was recently recognized as the lightest touch phone by Guinness World Records™. For any strenuous activity, the modu T is the phone to have. When hiking and skiing, you want to be as lightweight as possible. There’s no point in wasting any energy by carrying a heavy phone.

Being so light isn’t the only reason that a phone like this is easy to carry around. At 76 x 46.5 x 11 millimeters, the modu T is tiny. Guys always want more space in their pockets. With such a small phone, you can always fit that pack of gum. Moreover, girls hate having to carry large handbags or purses. The only necessary items in a pocketbook are a little money and a cell phone. With a phone as small as the modu T, you can carry your phone in your change purse. Say goodbye to the days of schlepping with a big bag!

A phone this small and this light has another obvious use: long toss. I have always wanted to throw a ball 100 meters, but could never find a ball that would go that far. Well, the modu T makes my dream possible and can make all of yours a reality. As the most versatile phone, the modu T can do just about anything you want it to.

Did You Know World Records are Kept for Mobile Phones?

Perhaps by now you’ve heard about the modu T, recognized as the lightest touch phone by Guinness World Records™. But you may not know that there are many other mobile-phone records, too.

The world’s largest functioning mobile phone, created by Cricket Communications, measured 4.57 x 3.42 x .74 meters. In contrast, the modu T is only 76 x 46.5 x 11 millimeters (yes, millimeters). Can you imagine carrying the Cricket Communications phone? Instead of struggling to hold that monster, you could simply slip the modu T into the specially designed super-light armband and instantly turn it into your exercise companion.Everest_kalapatthar_crop

Being able to sportify your modu T phone may come in handy during your workout session, while jogging at the park or while riding your bike. The record for the highest phone call is 8,848 meters at the peak of a Himalayas mountain. To put that height into perspective, it’s the equivalent of more than 1,164, 210 modu Ts stacked on top of one another. If you’re planning to climb that high and break the record, you should definitely be carrying the world’s lightest phone.

The modu T manages to be the most versatile phone because of its size, variety of functions and applications. The modu T, however, does not have a platinum home button with a 7.4 carat pink diamond, an antenna band made of rose gold and adorned with 100 carats of flawless diamonds, or a logo formed with 53 more diamonds. That’s the world’s most expensive phone at $8 million, made by Stuart Hughes. Fortunately, the modu T will not match that price tag either.

I don’t know who would want the largest functioning phone, to make the highest phone call or have the most expensive phone; none of these characteristics are very practical. The lightest touch phone, on the other hand, is useful with its various applications and functions. Stay tuned to learn more about why the all-new modu T is the phone for you.

The Most Important Factor in Choosing a Mobile Phone

We’ve all heard the saying, “It’s not where you’re from, but how you come.” We’ve also heard, “It’s not what you do, but how you do it” and, “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.” (Get the idea?)

A similar point can be made for mobile phones: “It’s not what you have, it’s how you use it.”

When purchasing a mobile phone, or anything for that matter, people are easily distracted by a product’s less important attributes. Whether it’s because of the color, a slight price difference, or gimmicks and accessories they’ll never use, many people often make their purchasing decisions for the wrong reasons.modu T prespective

These days, purchasing a mobile phone is one of the most personal and significant lifestyle choices you can make. Not only will your phone be your best friend for the next one to three years, but there are also so many phones (and accessories and carriers and plans) to choose from. Accordingly, your main concern when buying a mobile phone should be how you plan to use it. After all, that’s why you’re buying it in the first place… to use it.

What you really want in a phone is ease of use, handy features and great value for your money. That’s why it’s important to do a little personal research – to figure out what matters to you – before you rush out to buy the latest phone out there.

So, when buying a phone, the primary thing to ask yourself is how you’ll use it.

How will it complement your lifestyle?

Battery: If you’re always using your phone on-the-go and can’t be tied down to the nearest power outlet, consider a phone with lasting battery life and a short charge time.

Size: If you don’t have much pocket-space in your pants, don’t carry a purse or need to keep your phone on your body while exercising or playing sports, you’ll probably want a very small phone that can fit in various small pockets without bulking them up or bouncing around in them.

Texting: If your main reason for having a mobile phone is to text all day and night, you’ll save a lot of time (or waste a lot more, depending on how you look at it) by choosing a phone that’s quickest to type on. Some may opt for a slide-out QWERTY keyboard while others are remarkably nimble on a touch screen (which typically makes for a smaller phone and more spacious display area).

Camera: Do you take lots of photos with your phone? If you treasure your photos, don’t even think twice: make sure your camera resolution is at least 3.2 megapixels, if not higher.

Multimedia: If you’re planning to use your mobile phone as a multimedia and social networking hub, make sure you go for something that’s fast, easy-to-use and offers a range of features like data connectivity, applications and the ability to interface with other devices.

Price: Finally, how much you’re willing to spend on a mobile phone can often point you in the right direction. But keep in mind that the price you spend on it typically pales in comparison to the amount you’ll spend on monthly phone and data charges. So choose wisely before getting locked into a long-term contract with your mobile carrier.

In short, make sure to consider how you’ll use your phone, where you’ll use it, when you’ll use it, and how you expect it to make your life easier, more productive and more fun.

And here’s a question for you: Have you ever made the mistake of buying a phone while overlooking one important feature (or lack thereof)? What happened… did you end up having to take it back?

Yesterday we unveiled the modu T, our smallest, most versatile touch phone to date. Dov Moran, our company’s founder and CEO, proudly introduced it to an audience of journalists in Tel Aviv. He spoke about the phone’s exciting features and applications, explaining how it will stand out in the market and meet existing consumer needs.

For those who don’t know, Dov invented the USB Flash Drive (DiskOnKey™) at msystems, the company he founded and sold to SanDisk for $1.6 billion. At the press conference he announced his desire for modu to become a leading company in the mobile industry.

The modu T phone will be launched soon in various countries. It offers top-of-the-line call quality and an easy-to-use interface, and runs based on Qualcomm’s Brew operating system.

It’s a slim, 3.5G phone with a 2.2” touch screen and 2GB of storage (which can be extended up to 32GB with a memory card). Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s lightest touch phone, the modu T can perform a variety of functions: access the Internet and GPS, connect to social networks, send instant messages, play music and more. It also includes popular applications like YouTube™, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, eBuddy and Google™ Search.

But the modu T is more than just a touch phone. Its owners can modify – or should we say, “modufy” – it by attaching one of several modular devices. Once connected, these “fy” devices enhance the functionality of the phone so that users can enjoy additional features based on how they want to use their phone.

Below is a list of the fy devices created especially for the modu T (at least, so far):

· camerafy your modu T phone and capture your most memorable moments while staying super compact. Simply slide it into the sleek, intuitive 5-megapixel camerafy and start shooting.

· sportify your modu T phone to turn it into an exercise companion and personal trainer. Just strap the sportify to your arm to track your route and performance online and receive training information during and after your workout – all while listening to your favorite music.

· boostify your modu T phone to experience hands-free calling, listen to your favorite songs and enjoy uninterrupted connectivity.

· textify your modu T phone and give it a full QWERTY keyboard makeover, making texting and e-mailing a breeze. textify also has a built-in 5-megapixel camera for those moments when even a thousand words won’t do.
